Year 4 today began a new science topic, all about what happens to their food once they have eaten it.
First, we eat our food…
Year four then named their teeth and found out what they are for…
Then we ground up our food, just like our molar teeth do…
After that, the food went into the stomach, where we squeezed it some more…
Then it went into the intestine, where the juice was drained out…
And finally, out plopped what remains. Many of year 4 were fully grossed out.
