In English this week, we are continuing Stories from Another Culture, reading more of “The Firework-Makers Daughter” by Philip Pullman and writing our own stories based in Thailand. The English teacher, Miss Hind, will be coming in from the high school to teach the children poetry on Thursday morning. In Maths, we will begin looking at measures, of length, weigh and capacity. If you can help you child by looking at measures around your home, it will really help.
On Friday, it will be Children In Need, so make sure you have something spotty to wear. Please make sure your children read at least 4 times a week. Make sure that each time your child reads with you, you sign their homework diary. Thank you, Mr Bradley.
